There is nothing to clear up......

I have read RFK Jr's article, I do not get what you think I can "learn" from it, but it is a good one nonetheless, and I want to thank you for mentioning it.  I believe as RFK Jr. does that the CDC, FDA, NIH, etc all have a stake in seeing that the link between thimerosal and autism does NOT become publicly known and have thus played an integral part with the pharmaceutical industry in trying to cover up the evidence and the science behind the connection. In the article RFK Jr mentions the Simpsonwood meeting back in 2000 where numerous representatives from these agencies and pharmaceutical companies (you  can see a list of the who's who in attendance here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2000_Simpsonwood_CDC_conference ) met in secrecy to discuss this issue.
You can see a synoposis of the quotes from this meeting where numerous scientists expressed their concerns over the connection: http://www.safeminds.org/legislation/foia/Simpsonwood_Overview.pdf and the full transcript is available through this website:
http://search.atomz.com/search/?sp-q=simpsonwood&sp-a=sp10034386&sp-p=all&sp-f=ISO-8859- 1.  This document was obtained by SafeMinds through the FOIA....this was never released to the public prior to their request.....In email correspondence Thomas Verstraeten whom was an employee of the CDC at the time sent an email out to Ornstein the director of the NAtional Immunization Program at the CDC whom headed the Simpsonwood meeting, that no matter how much he played with the data (and he explains how he changed and added data in the email )that the connection "...just wont go away" you can see this email here: http://www.nomercury.org/science/documents/FOIA_emails_11-03.pdf

There is also tons of info on the link at the SafeMinds website at this link :http://www.safeminds.org/research/library.html

The MTP segment was very unbalanced time-wise I agree, but David was happy with the outcome nonetheless because he nailed Fineberg on the transparency in regards to the Vaccine Safety Datalink documentation that researchers like the Geiers tried to obtain but were given such a hard time by the CDC when they tried.  Now most of the documents have been conveniently destroyed but the others that stillexist are now in the hands of the HMO's whom the CDC says refuses to turn over to these researchers because of privacy issues (keep in mind all info which would reveal identity have been removed)...sounds more like the CDC made it harder to obtain these documents on purpose.

David Kirby is a good friend of mine and I can assure you that his intentions in writing the book you and I both mentioned were honorable.  He became interested in the controversy after hearing about the thimerosal rider in the Homeland Security Bill which would have shielded Lilly from any liability for the use of their product.  A red flag went up in his mind...if there is no risk, why protect Lilly?  The rider was overturned through the concerted efforts of many autism/vaccine agencies including TAAP, MoMA, SafeMinds, and others.  Again, I urge anyone with doubts about the link and the controversy, to read the book "Evidence of Harm:Mercury in Vaccines and the Autism Epidemic, A Medical Controversy" by David Kirby......itll be an eye-opener.....

The science is there, the evidence of harm is there, so again, why not err on the side of caution and mandate its removal?

Corzine has been a champion for the autism community in the past on other issues, I am not doubting that at all.....but like you said, I wish he would be more vocal about this issue as well.....
