DFA Involvement

That's right Matt.  We are here to assist you in any way possible.  Our group, Ocean County DFA, was VERY active in the Kerry campaign.  We actually put up ALL the signs in Ocean County for Kerry and ALL the signs for the Ocean County Democrats who were running for Freeholder.  Our group drove over 100 people to the polls.  We are here, call on us.

Did you go to the recent Ocean County House Party?

OCDFA Corzine/House Party 6/5 etc.

Clair was nice enought to host the Corzine house party in Beachwood last month, it was a very nice event with over 50 in attendance.  Rep. Frank Pallone was there who listened and answered alot of questions about local concerns. See pictures at

I also agree that voting reform/paper ballots needs to be addressed ASAP. We can do all the work for a candidate in the world and as long as the electronic voting machines function the way they do, a democrat may never win another election again.
I attended the Corzine Breakfast in Toms River yesterday, it was very nice to see a large turnout with only a few hours notice.
Coming to tour Ocean county on July 4th weekend without using a helicopter must have been an eye-opener to say the least. Road conditions here haven't changed in 50 years while the population has grown 300% percent.
This is why we do not support the relicensing of Oyster Creek nuclear plant. In case of an accident, there will be NO evacuation possible (and why I keep gas in my boat at all times) and with a 40 year old plant (the oldest in the nation) it's just a matter of time. If something does go wrong, "We told u so" will be woefully inadequate.
Please Sen. Corzine, we beg you. Do not support the re-licensing of Oyster creek for another 20 years.
Stand up for the residents, not the corporation, the people who have had it in their backyard for all these years and did their part. Time is up. The piddly amount of energy it produces and the couple hundred union jobs are not worth the price of a population of 400,000.
Besides we're would you all go to the beach then?
