Animated Debate

This was a considerably more animated debate than the radio debate.  Forrester again lied, lied, lied. Forrester flip-flopped on embryonic stem cells.  Forrester whined that we need a connection between research and business but he won't fund embryonic stem cell research ... duh, so Dougie how will you make that "connection"?

Corzine talked about the Edison Innovation Fund. He clearly outlined his plan for economic growth.  He also talked about research in alternative fuel technology.  Kudos!

Forrester claimed that biomedical companies  moved to Massaschuetts because of tort yet Massachusetts has less strict tort laws ... that's egg on your face Dougie, he came across as a liar!

30 in 3, 30 in 3, 30 in 3 ... he must have said it at least 3 times OR was it 30 times.  At any rate, he still can't explain how to fund a $9 billion dollar tax cut that will go disportionately to the upper brackets.  Corzine's property tax plan is plausible and will help those that need it the most.  Corzine is the only candidate that is serious about long term reform.

Corzine talked about health care - covering children and allowing young people to stay on their parents policies until age 30.  That is important as young people are staying in school longer these days and are having a harder time finding their first job.  They need coverage from 21 to 30.  Forrester came up blank.

Corzine talked about increasing college education grants.  Forrester came up blank again.

Corruption, corruption ... what's more corrupt than the a person that made a fortune on no-bid contracts and then decries those very contracts!  Oh yeah, Dougie claims he'll stop that but he is the person who made a fortune from it!  Liar, liar, liar.

In short, Corzine did very well. He responded to all of Forrester's lies.  That's what made the debate animated.  He answered all questions clearly.

Corzine only stumbled in one minor area on the current drinking age.  But, his answer had merit.  If you are old enough to get shot at, you are old enough to drink.

All in all, another Corzine victory.  Say bye, bye to Dougie The Slimeball.
